LL Monthly Gathering - March 2026
For as long as humans have banded together, certain members of the tribe have stood out as having unusual insight, wisdom, and perception. They have played the role of shaman, oracle, soothsayer, elder. We know them more commonly today as spiritual teachers. Whatever the cultural context these teachers have inhabited, perhaps what they share in common is their capacity to help us live more meaning-filled lives.
And yet spiritual teachers are also known these days for their misdeeds, even abuse. How can these supposedly “enlightened” beings be so blind to their own impulses and manage to cause so much harm?
It’s a dilemma: a spiritual life without the support of an authentic spiritual teacher will be stunted. But joining with the wrong spiritual teacher for the wrong reasons can have disastrous results.
At Bell Hall on March 11th, we’ll explore this juicy wisdom topic, in service of helping us all find beings in whose presence we feel more alive.
You’ll leave the night with increased confidence and clarity in discerning which teacher is right for you, and when.
