Home Retreat: A Day of Sacred Living

There is a deep-seated tendency in our psyche to call some things sacred and others secular. The word “profane” literally means “outside the temple” or “not sacred.” And yet, there are Wisdom teachings throughout human culture inviting us to make all things holy. In the New Testament, Peter calls on us to become “living stones”, to build a new kind of temple by radiating Divine Presence through our community (1 Peter 2:4-6). In this spirit, Lower Lights offers a full day of guided practice for those who would make their lives, their homes, their very bodies a temple.

The day will move in a soulful rhythm of formal meditation, movement and nature practice, reading of sacred text, as well as Q&A for support as you reach new depths in your practice.

It is our hope that this opportunity will help to cast a new light on the worldwide quarantine. It is the movement of Spirit to reclaim darkness into Divine Light. We invite you to join in this practice and to offer your blessings and light for the benefit of all.

Cost:
$55 - basic
$65 - retreat + one-on-one session*

*One-on-one sessions: For those students who would like more focused feedback and support on how their practice is progressing, this is a valuable option to consider. It will be a 10 minute session with Thomas during the retreat. There are a limited number of sessions available.
