For those in Utah County, join a follow-up night on March's topic, facilitated by Lower Lights council member Jon Ogden.
40 Days in the Desert
Whether we look to the Buddha’s encounter with the Demon God, Mara, or Yeshua’s temptation in the desert, a clear wisdom pattern emerges: In order to become what we are meant to become, we must confront the appetites and addictions of the small self.
What both the Christian and Buddhist traditions maintain is that through disciplined practice, we humans are capable of transforming into a new order of being altogether.
Together we’ll explore how this “life elevated” lives, moves and breathes.
Details: Sunday, March 15th, 7:30–9:00pm
