3-Day Retreat - Becoming One

  • Toynbee Hall 28 Commercial St, London E1 6LS, United Kingdom (map)

September 10th-12th, 2026 • Toynbee Hall • London

Across the great wisdom traditions — separated by centuries and continents — human beings have arrived at a remarkably similar discovery: that we are capable of joining ourselves with the fullness of all that is. Some have called this awakening. Others, liberation. In the Christian tradition, a quietly radical concept points toward the same reality: atonement — or, as its roots suggest, at-one-ment.

But how do we translate this understanding into a lived, embodied reality? When we feel estranged from ourselves and from the Divine, what can we do to return to a state of creative flow and grace?

This retreat offers a practical exploration of that question, drawing on practices from Thomas's recently released book, At-One-Ment.

What We'll Explore

  • Embodiment at every level: physical, mental and emotional, spiritual

  • Calming and steadying the mind

  • Awakening the heart and unitive awareness

  • Working with core vulnerabilities held in the body

  • The stages of human maturity through adult development

  • Collective healing — bearing one another's burdens

What You'll Take Away

  • Guidance from a seasoned contemplative teacher with over 25 years of practice

  • Connection with others walking a similar path

  • A deeper understanding of your own tradition — whatever it may be

  • New ways of bringing your particular gifts into the world
