LL Monthly Gathering - February 2026

$25.00

Friends,

You’re warmly invited to a community gathering on February 11th from 7:30-9 pm at Bell Hall, hosted by Lower Lights School of Wisdom.

Many of us have been formed—beautifully and painfully—by high-demand religion. We know its gifts: devotion, discipline, shared purpose, and lives oriented toward something greater than the self. We also know its shadows, especially when commitment becomes coercion, or belonging requires self-silencing.

This evening is an invitation to reflect together on the difference between high-demand religion and what we’re calling high-integrity spirituality—a way of practicing that preserves depth and rigor while honoring conscience, consent, and the authority of lived experience.

Through chant, sacred silence and shared inquiry, we’ll explore how to embrace the best of what we’ve been given without repeating its harm—and how a life of prayer and meditation can form courage, wisdom, and moral clarity for the world we’re being asked to meet now.

Come curious. Come as you are.

Love,

Thomas
