7-Day Meditation Retreat (October 19th-October 26th)

from $1,395.00

October 19th - October 26th, 2026 • Scholls Valley Lodge

We'd love for you to join us this fall at Scholls Valley Lodge, nestled in the rolling hills of Hillsboro, Oregon, for a seven-day meditation retreat.

At Lower Lights, we take a distinctive approach to meditation — one rooted in the ancient wisdom of mindfulness, Christianity, and Buddhism, but also informed by modern insights from developmental psychology. The result is a practice that meets you where you are and supports real, lasting change.

Retreat is one of the most powerful things you can do for your inner life. When we step away from the noise and demands of daily life for an extended period, something shifts. The mind settles. Old patterns — the ones that keep us stuck, reactive, or exhausted — begin to loosen their grip. We start to see more clearly, feel more deeply, and respond to life with greater care and intention.

This kind of deep rest and renewal isn't just good for you. As we do our own inner work, we naturally become more present, patient, and generous with the people around us. The healing we do in silence ripples outward.

Retreat is challenging — we don't pretend otherwise. But it's also one of the most rewarding things many of our participants say they've ever done.

We hope you'll join us for this one-of-a-kind experience!

This retreat includes:

• Daily instruction on mindfulness, contemplation, and Still Point Practice
• Small group sessions with the retreat leader
• Extended periods of silence
• Time outdoors, mindful walking, exercise
• Conscious work practice
• Delicious, nourishing food

Another unique aspect of Lower Lights’ meditation retreats is the formal instruction on We Space practice. “We Space” is an innovative form of meditation that involves learning to bring your highest awareness to relationship and becoming increasingly sensitive to the collective field that we share as human beings.

In We Space practice, you will learn to:
• Experience meditative awareness not just when you’re practicing mindfulness individually but in the depths and richness of all the relationships in your life.
• Express enhanced creativity as you offer your unique voice and gifts in service of the Whole
• Dissolve the boundaries that leave you feeling lonely and isolated in life. Taste genuine intimacy via Unitive awareness.
• Know yourself at the deepest level, beyond the personality, as a timeless flow of consciousness and Intelligence in communion with all things.

We invite you to join us for this intensive training period! Do this for yourself. Do this in service of all those you love. Meet your suffering head on and become what you sense in your depths you are meant to become.
