Timeless Text II

 Last month we explored Timeless Texts as a portal into Wisdom. We continue this practice in October by looking more closely at a pattern in sacred writings in the Great Human Tradition: Emptiness and Fullness. 

 To the Zen Buddhists, all sutras are “empty,” that is, they have no substantial being or ultimate meaning. To Christians, scripture is the very word of God, replete with Divine Power. Where might these seemingly opposite approaches meet?
