Part guided meditation, part silent walking, part social group
Time spent in nature can be a wonderful way to release tension, improve health and cultivate creativity. But like much of life, the mind can race and an hour outside will slip away with hardly a moment of present awareness.
Join a small group for a peaceful morning in City Creek Canyon where you will be given tools to help quickly ground yourself and stay connected throughout a hike. With just a little awareness, a regular exercise routine can be more fulfilling, safer, and rewarding.
This gathering will run from 8 am to 10:15 am, concluding with a light brunch and the energy to enjoy a full weekend.
Participants need to be able to walk 2 miles over varied terrain with very slight elevation gain and loss (up and down medium hills) over the course of 90 minutes; wear closed toe supportive walking or trail shoes, carry a bottle of water, sun protection, and any personal medications or items needed for safety and wellbeing.
Fee: $10 to cover costs
