The Meaning of Pandemic

In a time of unprecedented uncertainty and global instability, we naturally reach for coherent narratives—ways to make sense of what’s happening.

Developmental psychology, in a sense, is the study of meaning-making. A basic premise in this field of inquiry is that whoever we are, wherever we are, as human beings we cannot seem to escape from the act of making meaning.

So if to be human is to make meaning, then what meanings are we already making of the pandemic? To put it more boldly, in wisdom and full awareness, what meanings CAN we make of the current crisis? What more expansive meanings can we make in service of elevating and refining our common humanity?

Join us at Lower Lights Sangha *online*, April 15th, 7:30-9:00pm to explore this topic in soulful community.
