Taking Care of the Bodies
We live in a time where arguably people are more health conscious than ever: nutrition, exercise and sleep are all part of taking care of the body to be optimally healthy. But our modern worldview disadvantages us in at least one way: we tend to believe we only have one body, made up of cells, tissues and organs.
The Vedic religions (e.g. Hinduism and Buddhism) are very explicit about the many bodies we have and need to take care of in human life. But what are these bodies, and how do we take care of them?
Join Lower Lights on June 19th for a celebration of all the bodies! We’ll bring attention, caring awareness, and a spirit of play to this vast field of energy and bliss.
